I'm in MA and no you are not reading this wrong. The music teacher will have
47 1st grdaers on early out days (8 times a year) and the principal keeps
saying it's "only 8 times a year" but for a specialist that sees them once a week
that translates into 2 months of lessons.
Our contract does not have a class size number limit but does mention about
class size not serving the interests of the students and teachers. I will talk
with the teacher tomorrow and tell her to do something about it.
