I did figure drawing with 4th grade two years ago during the olympics and
used ice skaters as the theme. My librarian skates, so she had bunches of old
magazines. After learning gesture drawing and body proportion, they each chose a
picture, drew it and created a printing plate on Scratchfoam. We used markers
to print. Most turned out really good. Janet
