Those of you on the list from outside of Texas who expressed an interest to
me about obtaining information about attending the Texas Art Education
Association conference in November, the TAEA pre-registration newsletter is
now printed and mailed. If you requested a copy and have not yet received
it, please email your mailing address to me. Use my personal email, not the
list, to provide your mailing address. I will make sure that a copy is
mailed to you next week.
Non-TAEA members who are members of NAEA or other state associations may
attend as a guest and will not need to join TAEA.
TAEA members --- if you do not have your newsletter yet, let me know. The
most popular events and workshops will fill quickly. If you do not
pre-register, you might not be able to attend events that you wish to
attend. This is particularly critical this year because many of the
off-site events occur in nearby museums. The museums must keep close tabs
on the number of people in each group. TAEA cannot allow extras in any
group, so you can't beg your way into an event if you wait to register
on-site in Dallas.
Besides ... pre-registration is less expensive than on-site. You'll save a
few dollars and a bit of heartburn if you register now.
