Mike,
        I don't see any conflict between "wow projects" and DBAE.
The best DBAE is totally immersed into the production. It's best
as a holistic process. While I love products, I'm also a firm believer
in the "process" as being the most important thing. But to be a really
good teacher you need to teach from your strengths and your
personal beliefs.
