Hi Wendy,

   Charles Demuth's "Figure 5 in Gold" is a good example of a
non-traditional city scape. You can also tie in the poem on which it is
based by William Carlos Williams. Another artist to consider is Paul Klee.

any suggestions/leads on artists who paint land/city/seascapes in a
non-traditional or non-western style?
