Ok,we have technical names for specific behaviors. What can be
multi-tasked and what can not? Are your priorities the same as mine? Is it
possible that I might revise my priorities if I knew yours?
Teaching is easy, you just walk around the room and do "teacher stuff".
It is also possible to examine your teaching and learn to be better at it.
Frame different perspectives on the task. Ask other teachers about
teaching. We can be insular too and walk away from college and try to
figure out everything for ourselves in our heads.
The function of the overwhelming majority of the work we do using our art
defines us and how we present ourselves as "human" for indeed, Feldman was
right and we become human through our art.
