what to do with study hall

Hello,
Okay, I apologize that this is not an art question, but it does have to do
with teaching.
    I start school tomorrow and I just found out I have a study flex (hall).
Since I'm a newbie, can anyone tell me what I'm supposed to do with these
guys for first day and the rest of the week. I never had a study hall when I
was in school so I don't even know what it's like.
