Just an FYI re: DBAE....DBAE is not a prescriptive curriculum. There are not
halve-toos with DBAE. I have heard a lot of mis-information over the years.
DBAE is really about integrating, art history, aesthetics, criticism, and
studio work together to create a more well rounded art education curriculum.
The end result being an adult who is educated in the basics of art....as one
would expect an adult to be educated in the basics of mathematics, reading,
social studies, etc. DBAE was specifically designed to be non-prescriptive,
depending on the sort of art resources a specific district had.

I am not interested in debating DBAE (please do not send me a million
e-mails. I have heard a lot of inaccurate information (here and other
places) about what DBAE is and is not. It is worth the time to read some of
the original writings about DBAE.

Just my two cents worth.
