Maybe try changing how you present to project. If they have having trouble
creating a coil pot, have them make it inside a bowl. Works great.
I know my kids bug me to death until theirs are ready to take home. I've
never had any left over. I usully have to take pictures just so I'll have
some samples.
What age are your kids? I teach elementary, so it's usually their first and
only experience with clay.
Fourth grade does coil.
First- pinch Japanese tea cups
Second-dinosaur sculptures
Third-clay masks
Fifth-slab boxes with a story element incised in or a dragon sculpture
kdg-slab texture plaques.
