Middle school art club

I need some suggestions for 6th grade art club projects...we will meet three
times a week during a half hour in school club period. In particular I'm
interested in projects that are community and public service oriented as well
as those that will highlight the cultural diversity within our school and
give club members a means to use art to make a visual contribution to the
school. Any suggestions?
