Have been searching for a printable -picture of the Statue of Liberty and
have not
been sucessful. Anyone out there have an idea where there might be a line
drawing and I have searched for Leroy Niemans Statue of Liberty on the net
and can;t find it. I remember it was very colorful.

Todays lesson in fifth grade was partly the red white and blue hand print on
a poster
that someone posted the other day on the net - the kids loved it. The
children signed their names on it
We will head it with "We The People" While some were printing the others
started drawing the Statue of Liberty from my drawing on the board and one
student posed in a big sheet with my water bottle held high as her torch and a
large art book in her other hand. didn;t have a crown for her but the kids
used
their imaginations. They were so engrossed in this project there wasn;t a peep
in the room. And this fifth grade had to lose their afternoon recess last
time
due to extreme noise. Have shelved the perspective lesson for awhile - too
tense
for an intense time. Will return to it later - a net friend suggested that
we design
the tower memorial - a great idea!!!.

Peace Soon!
