Re: old oil pastels

Use them to make colored scrathboards. On card clay stock (slick/shinny) color randomly oil pastel, dust with chalk dust and paint over with india ink, allow to dry and the following day when you "scratch" out the black with any sharp drawing tool it reveals a colored line. You can also do planned layouts but the rear of the board must be marked to remind you of your plan or color layout.
