> These are great; what kind of paper are they using?
I order the brown rolls of paper from Nasco, same as the white and colored
36" rolls. The brown paper is similar in texture and look to the brown
paper used in grocery store bags. Great for conte crayons, etc;
Glad everyone is finding the Wetcanvas site useful. It is a home community
of 1600 artists internationally, and we have a sister site we load up our
art works, free to sell online. The sister site handles the exchange of
sales...acting as an arts broker, and takes only 5% of the sale as a
commission for this service.
It has been a particular joy for me to put together about a dozen lessons
which many artists have found useful. While I was a professionally known
wildlife artist for many years, I have been painting plein air landscape
oils (on location) for the past five years. I have about 4-5 lessons of
such on the site, and I think would be found of interest for students in art
rooms to see how a working artist operates today outdoors. You can find any
of my lessons by simply plugging my last name, "Seiler" in the search window
accessible on the Wetcanvas home page! Enjoy....
