Using artists with character lessons

Our town (churches, business, schools) is involved with character
education. A character trait is chosen for the month. I've put up small
displays in our school connecting artists with the character - some more
remote than others. For Patience I displayed Leonardo da Vinvi and
mentioned his 10 year apprenticeship. For honesty I displayed Vinnie
Ream and her statue of "Honest Abe" Lincoln. Next month the word is
Respect - can anyone help me with this one? I can't seem to get specific
enough with one (or several) artists.
Any ideas?
