I would like to see a part of your proposed site dedicated to scholarly
writing in the area of art education. Much of what is discussed on the list
is anecdotal and based on valuable long experience. It occurs to me that
experiences expressed in a referenced formal statement would benefit the art
educator in two ways. S(he) would have access to current issues supported by
scholarly research; and secondly, bring ideas forward that validate the
educational benefits to the overall scope of teaching. I see this as a "long"
abstract... maybe 500 words and one or two references minimum. Just a
thought. Peter
