I did clay whistles many years ago, after an inspiring workshop. I =
would not recommend it with elementary. I tried with 5th graders. The =
trouble is that in order to get it to work, you have to try blowing =
through, then mold some more, then blow again, etc until it works. The =
kids couldn't get it to make a sound and then wanted me to fix it for =
them. Well, I didn't want to put my mouth where their lovely little =
mouths had been, so most of them didn't end up working. Just something =
to think about. Don't know if MS would do better, I'm sure HS would be =
fine.
