I get the digest---so it is harder to thank all of you for your input.
Keep the "at-risk" ideas coming as I think that is a topic that many will
benefit many. My "friend" is using many of your ideas and feels more
successful already. She has even reached at least one child who now knows it
is wrong to steal--the child returned some of her markers. I guess it is OK
to say who my "friend" is....she is Holly --one of our list members. I have
the time now to help her. These children need someone like her who really
cares. She is winning them over one at a time.
Thanks to all who gave reviews for the "Behind the Scenes" videos I am going
to suggest the whole series since we have a comprehensive arts curriculum in
our county. Keep watching for more reviews posted to the list in the next
two weeks. Anyone who wants to know videos appropriate for any grade level,
try to include the area of interest. I haven't viewed many for elementary,
but have for middle grades and up. I need the expertise of this list for the
younger grades.
