It's lovely. I show it to my 6's after learn about Monet and before they make
their "Impressionist" painting. I warn them first that it was made for younger
children than them, so they won't think they are insulted by the slightly
childish bits. I have lots of Giverny prints (from old calendars) up and I see
the kids comparing them with the ones in the video.
BTW there really is a Hotel Esmerelda. And though I didn't get to Giverny this
summer I did visit the Musee d'Orsay and wished I had all my sixes (240) with
me.......well, for a second or two I did!
