Dearest Becky...No matter HOW long you teach, middle schoolers have this
uncanny way of keeping you humble. Just when you think you've got 'em
trained and have a handle on their thinking, they do a 180. One day they're
inhuman and the next day they are the nicest little people. There's no
reasoning why. You just learn to go with the flow and hope it's a "good
day"...ha! They are testing you and they'll keep testing you all year. If
you're aware of what they're doing, it makes it easier to accept them. It'll
all work out if you've got the patience to wait THEM out. Teaching mid.
school is a whole 'nother ballgame and it NEVER gets dull. Toodles........
