Re: leaf rubbings

Hi folks,
Just wanted to share my idea. I have to help out with some decorations for
our upcoming "Family Fall Dance" which is a Barn/Farm scene. All I was asked
to do with the kids was some type of leaf thing so that the artwork can be
put up (each with the Family Name) on some sort of tree that will be on a
wall. I used the idea posted here to spray mount freshly fallen leaves on
cardboard, and it worked GREAT! As I was working on these, I remembered all
these textural linoleum pieces I had, and started to use them. What super
results. The leaves rub off just fine onto the paper, AND there are some
really nice backgrounds to them now. ..pebbley, grainy, wood-like, etc. I
hope they hold up like someone said they should! Thanks again.
