Thank you all for you input on both of my questions.
For the rest of you who asked me to post my replies...here goes:
You can cast a plaster form from a plaster mold. the most popular releasing
agent was vasaline. Forms should be made in two parts unless your really mad
at the student, Then make one part (oops! That just slipped out :) Shoe
boxes work great for small parts..hands, forearms, feet. Line the box with
plastic first.

I even got my request for back issues of Scholastic art filled
privately...Thank you.
