What storage/organizational things do you
>think are essential? >

I taught in a classroom once that had 3 walls of cabinets of varying sizes
(and windows on the 4th-- North light), 5 sinks, 2 LARGE storage rooms,
walls covered in cork board and enough portfolio drawers that only 2
students had to share a drawer.

If you are designing yourself, go for as many portfolio drawers as they'll
let you put in. GREAT storage of student work between classes. My students
kept everything from their pencils, sketchbooks, current projects... you
name it they kept it in there. We had a large clay room with shelving of
varying heights for storing work (stapled weatherproofing plastic to one and
it made a great damp box)!

Boy, I miss that place! 8^)
