I'm doing giant size "gesture" or action poses of kids in silhouette around
the school with Y2K sayings like Y2K Kids think to the future; Y2K Kids Skate!
Y2K Kids Reach out to Others. Any other cool sayings? This is easy way to
cover white walls and looks terrific, fun, entertaining and even can teach
them to think about something besides themselves - you know a bit of
philosophy thrown in.

As for Blues truth and others having discipline problems. I took my badly
behaved students into the computer lab for computer art today and was
completely embarrassed i9n front of the computer teacher (a left brainer).
AFter struggling for 15 minutes I told them to get up, marched them back to
their room and sat them there for 15 minutes with no questions, no comments
and no discussion. IThen I said a few choice words about the project, their
attitude and behavior and said we could try again as long as there was
complete cooperation. They went back and did a good job. But judging from past
experiences you can't let them comment while they're sitting or they'll try to
defend their behavior and run all over you again. Action not words.

Whew got through that one. I'm really having to sit on this class lately. Full
moon, Halloween, etc. Get out the Holy Water next.
