These sculptures were permanent fixtures, intended to promote art throughout
the school. In most examples, cast body parts were stuck to the wall to make
it appear someone was emerging through it. A 3-D mural in the library had a
row of kids interacting with books (one kid was sleeping on a stack of books
on his desk). Another example had someone casually sitting up high atop a
bookshelf reading a newspaper. Another was someone reaching for the clock,
with just the head and hands showing, bits of a foot also, about what you'd
see if someone were floating in water.
Cool pictures to inspire the students. I may try it myself. NEXT YEAR!
