It does if we let it! There is a consent given to so called 'improvements'
that creep up on us by small increments until we are in so deep there appears
to be no turning around. As artists it is our place to point to the
inhumanity of this in our work. Much has been written lately about art and
technology and how the old masters painted the technology of their day, but
it was painted as a background to humanity, not as the focal point.
