I do agree with you about the collegiate wrestlers. My boyfriend of 6 years
wrestled while we were at Penn State and I frequently spent much of my free time
with National Champion Wrestlers. Their level of training at the collegiate
level was extremely intense and they deserve repect and recognition for this.
However, today's professional wrestlers have "tainted" the word "wrestling."
People who do not know the difference between today's pros and today's
collegiate and free-style wrestlers are missing out on some potentially
excellent role models. Pro wrestling, and students' reinactments of it, drives
me crazy! The pro wrestlers' actions encourage and support profanity and
