Guns in schools in Cincinnati by the teachers?

Yep I've heard it all now! I was listening to NPR and they also will
broadcast the 600 news. Perhaps I got the school district wrong- but
I believe it was here. Apparently to solve the problems of
misbehavior an administrator(I believe superintendent) wants the
teachers to be armed! He would like to see that they are actually
armed security guards that could also teach. He would like to see
access to guns for any teacher. Of course an Uproar! Many parents
upset, and now trying to get him ousted! Well he was speaking from
his hip and the more he talked the more him put his foot in his
mouth. Some of the parents said it would be too easy for the kids to
get guns. Another parent said maybe then they would listen. I
couldn't believe what I was hearing. Hoping that it wasn't actually
here. Just glad my kids aren't in public school now- can't believe
the stupidity that anyone in the position of raising/teaching/ our
kids and hiring teachers etc.,
could make such an idiotic statement. Then he retracted when he
heard they were trying to get him fired. Anyone else close by hear
the same news?
Can't find the paper web site- but it's a pretty poor paper anyway.
