Some of you wrote to me asking that if I found that great Sargent Gold
Tempera paint, to let you know. I had all sorts of suggestions of Jazz and
Crayola, etc...all of which I've tried in the past. Hey, guys, if you
haven't tried this Sargent's Gold, you've got to get some. The gold IS NOT
a dull, brownish gold like Jazz or Crayola. It's a really bright
gold...like the kind you would use if you were painting Tut mummies, etc. I
finally found a place that still carries it. They also have a great silver
and bronze. I've used both of these before too. All three colors are super
for using as a base for antiquing...like paper mache sculptures.

Try a place called Molly Hawkins. They have a very small catalog
with great prices. Website is: www.mollyhawkins.com. On page 7 of the
little catalog is Sargent Liquid Tempera Paint 16oz. Gold, Silver or Bronze
for $4.77. Toodles......
