I've also been saving CD's. On a trip to the Sci-Port Museum in
Shreveport I saw a beautiful hanging/mobile. It was CD's strung together
vertically, maybe 8-10 long and about 10 or so rows of these. It was
hung in a lobby with high windows and the CD's caught the light and cast
rainbows all over and changed colors themselves with the slightest
movement. I think they were alternated with clear gems. They must have
been doubled and glued together with the blank/sliver side visible. It
looked like clear fishing line was run between the disks and used to
string the gems on. It was breathtaking. Can you picture it? I going to
do it when I gather the CD's and the time.
