A giant thank you goes to those wonderful artists who emailed to me their
advice about teaching gourd craft in my high school classroom.
We just finished the unit (we started it on the first day of school, and
we're on an A/B block schedule) and the results were very good and we're all
very satisfied. We did pyro-engraving with choices of dyes, stains, and /or
paint for embellishments.
All your advice was encouraging and very helpful. I definitely plan to do
this project again. So thank you all very much!
