Poster contests, another view

I don't do poster contests, period. I make the information available to my
students, and if they want to participate, fine.
Another art teacher I know says that she told her principal that she would
gladly do one poster contest a year, and he could choose which one.
Our city has a zillion poster contests (cheap and easy way to get free
designs!), and the usual ones coming from everywhere else could fill a whole
year of art classes.
