That would mean the school opened in 1924. Maybe you could look up styles
in that time period. That was a pretty interesting era.

Perhaps a collage/mural? Try a mix of the old and the new. Remember the Mona
Lisa lesson that "updates" Mona with a bag of M&M's in her hand? How about
the '20's clothing styles with laptops, or hightops, or beany babies in the
students hands. Try to get some photos from your local library OF your
school, black and white, and "update" them with the more modern aspects of
your school today. Grid and enlarge some. It's decorative, you said, so YOU
can control the layout a bit more...but the kids can paint and grid for you.
