The music teacher gets dumped on with class size. The music teacher splits
his time between the Middle School and High School (choir, singing type
music) and the fantastic Band teacher we had couldn't take it any more and
splits his time between elementary and Middle School. He was told to take out
a loan IN HIS OWN NAME to purchase band uniforms. The Financial person
finally "found" the eight five thousand dollars for the uniforms, after
twenty years of old tattered hand-me downs, but no money for instruments. And
the band instructor had the kids at Disneyland twice, and they did National
Competitions. He finally gave up in disgust. We have a new young band
director who splits his time between the High School and Middle School. The
other art teacher is also split between the Middle andH.S. (two classes).
The new Middle School art room has no windows and no ventilation. They
neglected to put in air conditionong either.
Yeah...this is a real fun place, however, the pay is great.
