digital high school grant

Just a question for the group:

This year it is our school's turn to apply for the State Digital High
School grant. We had a very pitiful level of technology on campus just
six years ago when concerned parents formed a Foundation to raise money
to improve the school. As of today, the entire school has been wired for
Internet, almost every room has a computer/printer and TV/VCR and we
have three computer labs--one drop-in and 2 dedicated to subject areas.
Most all of us have access to a phone in our department offices with
voice mail.

Our thoughts about where to go next include money for another tech
person, for training staff, re-establishing the Video Production Lab we
used to have (back in the 70's), wiring all the classrooms for cable and
completion of our existing projects like the Digital Arts Lab for the
Art Department.

Has anyone received such a grant? Does anyone have any advice for us as
we begin the process? Any assistance would be helpful.
Thanks to all,
Teri Brudnak
