Lesson Plans

Hi Anne-
Rousseau has done many jungle scenes (Jungle Sunset, Exotic Landscape to name
a few). The students could do a mural with different animals and foliage
etc. Mixed media always looks impressive. Cut paper, tempera paint,
Cray-pas. You could also have the animals pop off the paper using 3d-os or
styrofoam packing peanuts. In my school the 3rd graders study ecosystems
which could tie in with this particular lesson. If you wanted to introduce
them to "camouflage" the animals could be camouflaged amongst the trees.
Another idea would be to talk about the rainforest.

Hope this helps.
