I have 750 students over a two week period. Usually 5 classes a day, and
six classes on Fridays, then the Art Club after school for an hour. There
are about 15 students in a class because the Art Room is not a full size
class room. I teach in a Catholic School, and the only space left for Art,
Music and Spanish classes was the Convent which is under occupied. My Art
Room is in the old kitchen. The room has counters around three walls, and
the students sit on 29" stools at the counters. There is lots of cabinet
space! Plus a large walk-in pantry! It makes for an interesting set-up. I
have a computer that has intranet within the school and the internet.
Students have Art for an hour every other week, except for Kindergarten for
25 minutes, 1st grade for 50 minutes, and 7th and 8th grade who have Art for
45 minutes every other week. The alternate weeks they go to Music next door.
