Thanks for all of your feedback/ This site has been a life saver.

I am planning self portraits for my high school Basic, Art I and Art II, III
students.

What do you think about doing a compare/contrast with Chuck Close and
Rembrandt?
Then having my Basic Art students do Rembrandt style portraits (chiroschiro)
while my advanced art II,III students doing Chuck Close style portraits
enlarged off of a digital camera shot and then enlarged using an overhead or
grid transfer method. What do you think about using india ink and stamp pads
and/or bingo markers to create different value scales using "dots?"

What type of self portrait could my art I students do????

Any input on how you have achieved awesome self portraits would be
appreciated. First year here and have no curriculum....THANK YOU ALL!!!!!
