I am stunned by your budget in the gallery-saturated area. The galleries in
your area should realize that their business future depends on Scottsdale
"growing an audience".

My initial gut reaction -

"Dear Lisa Sette - I would love to do a unit on the work of ....whoever
she's showing in a few months......my budget per student per class session
is .75 cent (3/4ths of one cent). This should cover equipment, resource
materials and consumables. In addition to this funding we have access to
some donated newsprint and a few blue crayons. I welcome any insight you
might have into this artist's work that might help me design a unit around
these materials that will both help develop these future Scottsdale art
buyers and also meet the National Standards for Art Education."
