I do what Sandra does except I copy the post from the digest into an opened
word processing document. Save the like subjects in that document, (ie. mosaic
lessons) then file them in my lesson plan folders. Then when I am looking in
my files for something on that subject or media I can apply what I have
gleaned from all of the seasoned pros.
I used to print them out and file them into a notebook next to my computer,
but after years it became unmanageable.
I tried saving them in different folders in the e mail program and lost a ton
of good stuff I had categorized in a crash.
In any case I suggest you backup your files on a zip.
