Hi all,
I know I've seen requests like this for music and drama teachers
before but here goes one for speech. Every time I tell my colleagues at
school about something encouraging, interesting, informative,
etc.......that I got from all of you they are jealous!! My friend, the
speech teacher wants to know if anyone knows of on-line group for speech
teachers?
Also while I'm at it....every year my school has a big writing
celebration where the children share their books they've been writing
all year. I usually do artwork to fit in with the theme. Last year was
cowboys and it was great--kids learned about Remington- 4th grade did
clay horse sculptures , fifth grade did great boot and hat still lifes
on paper we had painted with good old Carolina red mud for a background
(they turned out awesome but my outdoor patio is still mud stained in
rectangles!!), kdg sponge painted patterns of boots, cacti and cowboy
hats - well you get the idea. Anyway this year the theme will be outer
space. I'm a little stumped. I certainly can't think of an artist to
tie in. Any brainstorms? This is a kdg through 5th grade school. Thanks
for the help -this group is great!
