Hi all,
A GREAT BIG thank you! to Ellen, Betsy, Liz, Leslie, Artie, Carolyn,
HPool, Linda K., Michel, Karla, Cheryl, Peggi B., Lisa, Mary B., Leah,
Carol, Kathi, Cathy, Sid, DeDe, Tiffany, Sue, and Deb (wow! Hope I
haven't missed anyone!)
I have begun to use some of the suggestions you all gave, and am
finding them very helpful-from meeting them at the door to line up
tricks to the clap and rhyme. Now if I can just learn EVERYONE'S name!
before Christmas {:-).....one class on Wednesday, and another on
Fridays. My other frustrations are the lack of time from my 'home' bldg.
to the other and the crappy tables (cafeteria style-long benches-no
flexibility!) well....all in good time!
Anyhow, I always tell everyone I know about how wonderful this group
is, and you can not imagine the assistance you've given in this
situation-no one else quite ever 'gets' it, but here, we all do {:-)
Here's a funnie....couple weeks ago, we're all sitting around in a
circle on our carpet squares and I'm talking about line, and I ask for
examples of various lines....so they're saying zigzag (and showing the
motion) and wavy, etc. Then one little boy smiles real cute and says
"how 'bout a sea lion?" I thought to myself, is this what Robin Williams
kindergarten art teacher got to experience?
Anyway, again, you're all great!
