Re: perspective drawing

I spent so long on self-portrait drawing that I had to go on to painting
even though I hadn't covered perspective. I did a quick lesson on
one-point perspective and then had them do a monochromatic painting using
the perspective. It was fun, took care of two things at once and the
landscapes have an "other worldly" feel because of the monochromatic look.
