Just a reminder that you need to look at the recommendations from the
California Teachers Association. Remember your
association works for you in Sacramento and was very
much at the front to get the wonderful changes in your retirement with STRS.

They need the help of legislators who are committed to raising public
education in this state not killing it.

Please remember to vote NO on Prop 8. It is not good for
this state or our kids. Unless, of course, you plan to be the Education
Czar after Wilson appoints one, and you want the unique privilege of
setting your own salary for 10 years plus setting up your own little
substate in Sacramento to spend school money.

Prop 8 is something like 36 pages of lawyer talk that
people signed for in front of Targets across the state so that we could end
up fighting it. Our system needs work.

I am not opinionated, I am right.
