Smocks and old shirts

I saw a reference to keeping kid's clothing clean by having a large
supply of shirts on hand.
A word of warning.
A few years back our school district had a difficult time ridding our
elem. schools of a yearly lice epedimic. Play productions seemed to
preceed the epidemic. We changed our method of storing costumes...No
more communal boxes and I rotated the smocks on a 4 or 5 day cycle.
That became too much trouble so now any parent concerned with stains
sends a smock for the kid's locker! Better the stains than the NITS!
Enough already! I'm begining to feel itchy
