I try to base each student's grade on the effort and comparisons to their
previous work. When I was in high school every student received a 100. As
a student, that always bothered me and I promised I would never do that. I
don't believe only students with God-given talent should receive the best
grades either. I believe the students constantly striving to improve and
really work on their work deserve the best grades.
