I hope you were referring to Western American Art History, but if you were referring to the History of Art in Western Civilization, this will still cover a bit of the new stuff.
The Cowboy Hall of Fame is a historical museum and art gallery, dedicated to the American pioneers in the West, located in Oklahoma City, OK. It opened when I was a little girl living just NE of there.
There are some fabulous collections of art, including sculpture, paintings, leather art and other textile arts, plus so much more.

I also found this interesting website while I was searching for Peter Hurd artworks. Several artists' work is exhibited on this website, and the images are in jpeg format. They are ready to display in class.
As I find more I will send them.
Hope this helps,
Sheryl
