A free information kit is available that tells how US schools
receive a share of $100 million in new,
donated supplies every year. Corporations donate their overstock and
discontinued products and earn
a federal income tax deduction. Recipient schools pay dues ranging
from $275 to $575, plus shipping
and handling, to cover program overhead, but the products are free.
School administrators choose
what they need from 250-page catalogs issued every ten weeks, and
according to the program
coordinator, members receive an average of $2500 worth of new
supplies per catalog. To receive the
free information kit, call the nonprofit National Association for
the Exchange of Industrial Resources
