re: unnecessary flames

Just a note in support of Carla. A listserve works best when confined
to debating content. The more vigorous, the better! But personal
attacks aren't appropriate.

While I have found that I disagree with some of the ideas expressed
during the gifted debate, the discussion itself is terrific. Thanks for
your genuine contributions, Carla.
