Not true. They all have potential to achieve, but gifted........Guess
it is time for some of my fellow art teachers to become educated about
gifted education and what it is all about. It is not an elitist thing.
It is a fact of life that some have more ability in some areas than
others. The old argument of nature verses nurture does point to the
fact that if we practice we can get much better, but to become truly
gifted it may not be an option. Yes all can sing, all can draw but we
all know that some sound like Barbara streisand, and some can draw like
Da Vinci. To say that all are gifted in art, I am afraid is an error.
