We thought we hit the mother lode of resource material when another art
teacher and I found many many back issues of Nat'l Geographic that weren't
making it to the new library. We have them for reference and with high
school students, I remind them there are nudes in some of our reference
and they don't have to look. I have a good story. I wanted so badly to a
project based on the Magritte bottle people and was able to get only one
example-naturally a nude. I went ahead and told the students I had it and
showed it to them individually if they wanted to see it. All comments were
appropriate and they all thought the bottle was beautiful so they were
more impressed with the art. Fran
